Advanced Raven’s Progressive Matrices™ (APM) is a nonverbal test typically used to measure high-level observation skills, clear thinking ability, and abstract reasoning.
APM tests are typically presented to candidates who apply for positions in upper management and for roles that require a superior level of cognitive and analytical abilities. This app consists of total 60 multiple-choice questions (in the PRO version). On each test you will get 20 random questions with similar difficulty. You will be given 8 choices from which to select and complete the missing element.

Rule 2:
The shading on the rectangle and the square alternate in each row.
Rule 3:
The number of places moved horizontally, increases by one in each next row.
Notice:
The last row is similar because when the shape moves three places horizontally, it will come back to the same position each time.

Rule 1:
From left to right, the circle shape moves one place clockwise each time and rotates 30 degrees clockwise each time. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 2:
From left to right, the moon rotates 45 degrees clockwise each time. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 3:
From left to right, the T-shape moves one place clockwise each time and rotates 30 degrees clockwise each time. The T-shape is shaded in alternate cells. This pattern continues onto the next row.

6. Please select the correct answer

Rule 1:
From left to right, the circle moves along a diagonal line one place each time. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 2:
From left to right, the circle is shaded alternatively. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 3:
From left to right, the triangle moves one place anticlockwise in the first row, two places in the second and three places in the third row. In each new row, the pattern starts again.

Rule 1:
From top to bottom, the hexagon moves one place anticlockwise direction each time. Pattern continues onto the next column.
Rule 2:
From top to bottom, the square and hexagon reduce their sides by one each time. The hexagon decreases counterclockwise, the square decreases clockwise. When they are done, the pattern starts from the beginning.

The shapes are shaded only when they are whole.

Rule 1:
From left to right, the triangle rotates 90 degrees clockwise each time. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 2:
From left to right, the square rotates 45 degrees clockwise each time. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 3:
From left to right, the triangle and the square change places each time. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 4:
From left to right, the upper shape is always shaded.

9. Please select the correct answer

Rule 1:
From left to right, the upper and lower sets of circles alternately rotate 45 degrees clockwise each time. This pattern continues onto the next row.
Rule 2:
From left to right, the middle set of circles maintains its position in all cells.

10. Please select the correct answer

Rule 1:
From top to bottom, each time moves only top, middle or bottom shapes. Top and bottom shapes changing their direction, the square rotates 45 degrees. This pattern continues onto the next column.
Rule 2:
When one row changes position, the other rows in the same cell do not move.
Rule 3:
The square is shaded alternately.
