Advanced Raven’s Progressive Matrices™ (APM) is a nonverbal test typically used to measure high-level observation skills, clear thinking ability, and abstract reasoning.

APM tests are typically presented to candidates who apply for positions in upper management and for roles that require a superior level of cognitive and analytical abilities. This app consists of total 60 multiple-choice questions (in the PRO version). On each test you will get 20 random questions with similar difficulty. You will be given 8 choices from which to select and complete the missing element.

**Rule 1:**

From top to bottom, the triangles are shaded/unshaded one by one, starting from the lowermost triangle each time. This pattern continues onto the next column. **Rule 2:**

From top to bottom, the circle moves vertically in one place each time (first down, then up). This pattern continues onto the next column.**Rule 3:**

The circle is shaded when it overlaps with an unshaded triangle and unshaded when it overlaps with a shaded triangle.

**Rule 1:**

From left to right, the shading alternates between the inner and the outer stars. This pattern continues onto the next row. **Rule 2:**

The number of edges of the outer star increases by one in each row.**Rule 3:**

The number of edges of the inner star decreases by one in each row.

**Rule 1:**

From top to bottom the shapes are shaded one in eachcell. The shapes are shaded in ascending order of their size. From the smallest to the largest. This pattern continues onto the next column.**Rule 2:**

From top to bottom, each shaded circle/square in the next cell appears as a square/circle. This pattern continues onto the next column.

**Rule 1:**

From left to right, the square rotates 45 degrees clockwise each time, the triangle rotates 90 degrees clockwise and moves one place along a horizontal line each time, the house shape rotates 135 degrees clockwise and moves two places along a horizontal line each time. This pattern starts again on the next row as the shapes are moved one step to the right.
